In taking this course, you'll cover regulatory awareness, looking at the various regulatory bodies governing Florida's insurance industry with information on licensing and appointment requirements and instructions for accessing and providing information on the Department of Financial Services website; insurance law and updates, highlighting pertinent changes to Florida law and certain federal developments; ethical requirements and the Unfair Insurance Trade Practices Act; and current/emerging disciplinary and industry issues/trends, including insurance fraud and recent enforcement actions, and covers the Policyholder Bill of Rights.
