Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS®)
The CEBS designation delivers benefits expertise supported by research-based best practices with a curriculum developed by the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and administered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Whether you are looking to break into the industry, currently work in employee benefits or are an experienced benefits professional, CEBS provides the knowledge you need to succeed in a career in benefits.
Designation Courses
To earn the CEBS designation, you will complete five required courses covering group health and retirement benefit plans using a self-paced, self-study curriculum. Start by taking either the two core Group Benefits Associate (GBA) health courses, or the two core Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) retirement courses, and the one GBA/RPA 3 bridge course to earn both your GBA and RPA credentials.
