What Current AIC Students Need to Know
Materials for the current AIC courses are expiring. This includes:
- AIC 30, 31, 32, 37, 39, 41, 44, 48, and 49
The deadline to test on current materials is September 15, 2022, and also applies to Segments A, B, and C if completing the AIC 30 exam in segments. All segments must be completed to receive full credit.
All Institutes designation exams are offered in a virtual format. This means you can complete your exam at the time and place that works for you!
- Complete your expiring AIC exam anytime during the following 2022 testing windows:
- April 15-June 15
- July 15-Sept 15
- You have 65 minutes to complete 50 multiple-choice questions (not including AIC 30 segmented exams)
- Virtual exam retakes are also available

The following courses provide credit toward the new AIC courses:
- AIC 30: Claim Handling Principles and Practices earns credit toward AIC 300
- CPCU 530: Navigating the Legal Landscape of Insurance earns credit toward AIC 301
- AIC 39: Auto Claims Practices earns credit toward AIC 302
- AIC 32: Liability Claims Practices earns credit toward AIC 303
- AIC 31: Property Claims Practices earns credit toward AIC 304
- AIC 44: Workers Compensation Claim Practices earns credit toward AIC 305
To gain credit for any of the above, expiring AIC courses, you must complete your course by the September 15th, 2022, testing deadline.
