CPCU in Good Standing

The Institutes’ CPCU in Good Standing program will officially conclude at the end of 2025.

We heard you — CPCUs told us they want to focus on meaningful educational content, not reporting requirements, and this transition reflects that feedback. While the program has ended, all previously earned digital badges in 2025 will continue to be honored through 2027.

Here’s what else to note:

  • 2025 is the final reporting period.
  • CPCU in Good Standing activity can be reported through Dec. 31, 2025.
  • Continuous learning remains a core value of being a CPCU, allowing you to focus on your professional development without the additional layer of reporting requirements.

We appreciate your involvement with the CPCU community and your dedication to lifelong learning.

Every CPCU commits to continuing education (CE) as part of the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct. Those who earn 24 credit hours every two years and complete the reporting process are CPCUs in Good Standing and are included in our searchable list. Please note: CPCUs in their first reporting period were automatically considered in Good Standing, and some individuals may not appear in results if they selected a private profile.

Our list also includes CPCUs who were recognized as Good Standing Retired. These individuals are retired from the risk and insurance profession and no longer utilizing their designation for commercial or paid purposes. They were not required to report 24 CE hours every two years.
